Apple’s reputation is on the line yet again as some reports have disclosed that Apple knew back in 2009 about the iPhone 4 reception problems, but did not take any measures to eliminate it. Since the launch of iPhone 4, numerous customers, especially those who are based in US have been complaining about the bad reception on their iPhone 4. Apple in the beginning denied any claims of such nature and in one of their official statements, Apple said that iPhone 4 does not have any antenna or reception issues. But later, Steve Jobs told a guy that he is holding his iPhone 4 wrong when he complained about the reception issue. Few days later, an announcement came from Apple’s side which stated the launch of a new firmware, version 4.1 for iPhone 4. The firmware is expected to be launched soon and would address the signal loss issue. Now according to a report by Bloomberg, Ruben Caballero – senior engineer and antenna expert, warned Apple management back in 2009 that iPhone 4’s design might cause antenna issues, but no attention was paid to that matter. Now the users of iPhone 4 are really not happy with the antenna issues and in a latest report, they said that they won’t recommend it to others. This has also led to a whopping 10% decline in the shares of Apple since the launch event, which they called “most successful launch event in the history”. Lets see what Apple has got in their mind now and what would they do to resolve such issues.
