Yahoo has launched an iPad app for their Yahoo Entertainment section. Yahoo has so far became one of the very few to launch an exclusive iPad application, as most of the companies are currently relying on the scaled-up iPhone app for iPad. The home screen of this application presents the view of a theater with a TV and an ottoman. That provides you the navigation to the various section of that application. You can access news, view the videos to which you have subscribed, see the daily TV listings and schedules, and more. The user interface of this application is like an eye-candy, as its very graphics rich and makes extensive use of the multi-touch interface of the iPad. You can scroll through various snippets on news, tap to expand it. While viewing the TV listing, you can create a customize filter to sort out your favorite TV shows, by genre, date or whatever you like. Future version of this app might gets an integration from other services of Yahoo – like Games and Yahoo Mail, so you’ll be enjoying all the perks of the services while enjoying Yahoo Entertainment, or any of your other favorite section.
