As usual Facebook is again facing problems this morning. Facebook users are complaining about site load time, 404 errors, issues with image uploading, CSS load-time issue and mobile performance errors. I was trying to load Mashable page on Facebook (facebook.com/mashable) and i ran into plenty of errors as well as slowdown on the site itself. I am keeping a keen eye on the issue and will post any updates i find. Right now, the most common issues are:
- No CSS on certain pages
- Failure to Upload Photos
- Lots and Lots of Random Errors
- Status Update Errors on the iPhone and BlackBerry apps
- Very slow performance
- Crashing Firefox 3.5.8
I then logged into my twitter and read following update from Facebook: “Are you experiencing any issues? Let us know what you see in the comments!” “Facebook claims to have found and fixed the issue. Full service should be restored: We have restored access for the small percentage of users this morning who could not log in to Facebook or access specific features because of an isolated server issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused them.”
