iPhone app store has now got more 200,000 apps for every reason. It ranges from notepad editors to download managers, anything that you might possibly need on that smart-phone. This includes both kind of apps, paid and free. Naturally, people are more focused on all the free stuff they can get rather than the paid one, so I have picked my five most favorite apps from the Apple app store to share with my readers. Here’s the list:
1. Facebook
Need any more description? Guess not. This app is a dream come true for a social-network enthusiast who is always on move with the iPhone. The app gets constant revision from the company and with each update, the experience gets better and better. It supports all the feature which you get on the standard facebook site, plus adds convenience to do more stuff with your mobile phone. The experience is so great that it beats the browser version.
2. RunKeeper Free
This app helps you remain fit and assists you in your exercises. It uses the GPS capabilities of your iPhone to track the route of your jogging parth, and helps you to keep track of the duration of the exercise and the calories burnt. It also helps you to explore nearby places and tag it. You can also use it for trademill by manually entering the required values.
3. Stanza
Well Kindle had a killer before iPad, and it was none other than the stanza. This free app makes your iPhone capable of reading books. It has got a vast store which has got all kinds of books, for free and low cost. You can view and purchase it right from your iPhone. The app also allows you to view your PDF eBooks using this application.
4. DropBox
This application is a live saver. It has got an alias on Windows machine and Mac, which has to be installed before signing-up for this. Once registered, you get a free storage of several gigabytes (can be extended upon payment) on the cloud. You can then access that storage from anywhere, anytime, via a mobile device like iPhone, PC or MAC. I have personally used this app and it comes in quite handy when you have to constantly move around with your data.
5. Skype
Going out of country and not willing to pay for roaming charges? If you have wifi hotspot at the place you’re staying, then you can safely switch to Skype as your regular phone. You can buy skype credit and make international calls for less. Besides, calls from Skype to Skype are already free. This app is also very useful for having call-conferences and receiving calls from a call-forwarding number. So the final verdict is that if you’re looking for a great VoIP app for iPhone, then this is the best that you can get. Whats your favorite free app of iPhone?
