A Twitter phishing attack is spreading rapidly today, and trying to obtain Twitter user logins via Direct Messages. As a safety precaution, if you receive a message reading like “lol, is this you”, and linking to a site called “bzpharma”, do not click the link. Users clicking that link and enter their details are accidently letting spammers take over their accounts, which are then used to spam the same Direct Message to all their twitter friends. If you receive such messages, your account is not compromised, but if you find you’re sending them, make sure to change your Twitter (Twitter) password immediately. Twitter team is already working on this issue. Follow me @saqibimran for more future instant updates
