The Apple Company likes to stay on top, and perhaps now they are being threatened and pressured by the increasing growth of the Android market, maybe this is the reason why they have banned the word ‘android’ from an applications description.
The matter came to surface when the “Flash of the genius” application’s developer Tim Novikoff submitted his application to the AppStore and mentioned his achievements for the application in the Android market, it is obvious that Apple didn’t like this move; they didn’t reject the Application all together but sent a note which stated the following:
- “During our review of your application, we found that you application contains inappropriate or irrelevant platform information in the application description and/or release notes sections.
- While your application has not been rejected, it would be appropriate to remove ‘finalist in Google’s Android Development Challenge!’ from the application description.
- Please log into itunes connect to make appropriate changes to the application description now to avoid an interruption in the availability of Flash of Genius: SAT Vocab 2.2 on the iphone AppStore”.
Android is slowly but surely creeping up to Apple, but Apple should stand stead fast as they are the older Company and the users have come to trust them over the long years. If Apple continues to indulge in such matters then through these they are bringing the attention towards Android and not away from it. So, Apple should remain confident and run their business as they were doing prior to the arrival of android.
The search giant ‘Google’ has been known to deliver the best products to its customers. It was initially developed as a search engine but in the last few years they have come up with quite a few things that have left its competitors awe struck. Among these there is the prominent Operating system the Android.
Android has been slowly creeping up on the iOS (the operating system developed by Apple) and becoming one of the most sought after OS for most of the mobile companies. Perhaps the one reason for its hype in the market is because of the fact that it offers its users with the best applications that are out there today. One of these applications is the Translator App which was specially developed for the mobile sets with Android.
The translator is a simple and easy to use application. It is the best application for travelers who face a tremendous difficulty in communication when they go to countries they have never been to before. The Translator is a great travel partner and the major plus point it gives its users is that it was recently upgraded, when it first came out it supported 21 languages, but with the upgrade it now supports Arabic, Japanese, Korean along with the 21 other languages. It is also reported that the languages which were supported before are now improved, but it is yet unclear as to what these improvements are.
